We have established a consultation and reporting desk for our business partners to address any legal violations or misconduct by employees in transactions with our company.
Reception details
SNBL In the event that the following acts are recognized in relation to "transactions related to research activities conducted with the allocation of public research funds, etc."
- SNBL Acts that are systematically fraudulent or may be fraudulent
- SNBL Member's personal misconduct, violation of laws and regulations, or acts that may lead to fraud
* 'Misconduct' refers to the use of public research funds for other purposes due to intentional or gross negligence, or the use that violates the content or conditions attached to the decision of competitive funding, as well as other misconduct in research activities (fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, etc.).

SNBL Officers and employees (including temporary employees) of business partners involved in public funds with the Company are eligible.
In principle, we do not accept consultations or reports from individuals other than those mentioned above.
Notes
- We also accept anonymous consultations and reports, but please be aware that in such cases, a thorough investigation may not be possible. Additionally, we generally do not report the results of investigations for anonymous consultations or reports.
- We do not accept consultations or reports based on slander, falsehoods, or other improper purposes.
- Depending on the content of your inquiry, it may take some time to respond. Additionally, we may not be able to respond to certain inquiries. Thank you for your understanding.
Response to Consultations and Reports
The content of consultations and reports is received by the internal audit department directly under the Chief Management Officer and handled in accordance with internal regulations. The results of the response will be communicated to the consultant or reporter with due consideration for the privacy of those involved.
Protection of whistleblowers
The name of the reporter and the facts and content of the consultation or report will not be disclosed to anyone other than those involved in the investigation.
Furthermore, if the reporter meets the protection requirements specified below, they may be protected under the Whistleblower Protection Act. For details, please contact the reporting desk.

Prohibition of unfavorable treatment
