New life and work environment in Wakayama
Currently, I am in charge of drug concentration measurement tests and pharmacokinetic tests of biological samples at the Drug Metabolism Analysis Center in Wakayama. Until I graduated from university, I lived in the Kanto region, so before being assigned, I felt very anxious about living in Kansai for the first time, and especially in a place like Wakayama. I was used to living in the city, so honestly, I was very worried about changes in the environment, such as food, shopping, and places to hang out. However, that anxiety was quickly resolved. Kainan City, where the company is located, and the adjacent Wakayama City have plenty of facilities and things necessary for living, such as commercial facilities and restaurants. Above all, I realized that there is a lot of rich nature right nearby, and there are many things that cannot be experienced in Kanto, making it a very livable city.
First professional life and adaptation to the workplace
In my first year as a working adult, I was in a state of not knowing my right from my left in my first solo living experience in an unfamiliar place, but thanks to the thorough training I received from my seniors, from experimental operations to desk work, it didn't take long to get accustomed to the workplace. Now, I feel that I am able to carry out fulfilling work every day.
Fulfilling private life and leisure
After work, I regularly participate in adult badminton and futsal teams to work up a sweat. I can deepen friendships both inside and outside the company, allowing me to refresh both my mind and body. Additionally, the way I spend my leisure time has changed. I have been able to enjoy nature-based leisure activities such as hiking, rafting, and fishing, which I couldn't experience in the city, and these have been incredibly fun and valuable experiences.
Let's definitely lead a fulfilling life both in work and private together. I look forward to meeting all of you!
