Preventing contamination of water resources

①Drinking water quality testing

We recognize that ensuring safety and health in the workplace for all employees is one of the company's important responsibilities. To provide safe water in the workplace, we conduct monthly drinking water quality inspections.
We verify that the results of the water quality inspections do not violate environmental laws or local ordinances, and we report to Kagoshima City every three months.

Drinking water quality test items

・Drinking water quality inspection (all items of raw water, total 39 items): Conducted once a year
・Drinking water quality inspection (all items of purified water, total 51 items): Conducted once a year
・Drinking water quality inspection (non-omissible items + necessary items): Conducted three times a year
・Drinking water quality inspection (9 items): Conducted eight times a year

② Wastewater quality inspection

Regarding wastewater, we process it appropriately according to administrative standards. To reduce the burden on the local environment, we implement advanced purification treatment using hollow fiber membranes in addition to the activated sludge method, which uses aerobic microorganisms to treat organic matter in water, achieving stricter standards than administrative requirements.

The site manager collects wastewater samples and inspects water quality every two months (six times a year). We verify that the results of the water quality inspections do not violate environmental laws or local ordinances, and we report to Kagoshima City.

Preventing Air Pollution

Regarding equipment related to exhaust gases, we comply with legal and ordinance regulations. We conduct annual inspections of incineration ash based on the testing methods for standards related to specially controlled general waste and specially controlled industrial waste.
