Air-cooled heat pump chiller
In 2018, we introduced four air-cooled heat pump chillers at the Kagoshima headquarters/safety research institute.
Air-cooled heat pump chillers are energy-saving devices that can obtain a large amount of thermal energy with minimal input energy. By introducing air-cooled heat pump chillers, we achieved a 20.8% energy saving compared to conventional air conditioning systems, leading to a reduction in A heavy oil and electricity consumption.

LED lighting
In 2023, we advanced the LED lighting conversion at the Kagoshima headquarters/safety research institute. As a result, we have achieved an annual reduction of approximately 200,000 kWh in electricity consumption.
