Wastewater purification treatment
- water resources
At the Kagoshima Headquarters/Safety Research Institute, we are reducing the impact on the surrounding natural environment by purifying raw water (wastewater) from our facilities.
To reduce the burden on the local environment, we are implementing advanced purification processes using hollow fiber membranes, in addition to the activated sludge method where aerobic microorganisms treat organic matter in water, achieving wastewater treatment standards stricter than governmental regulations.

The site manager collects wastewater samples and inspects water quality every two months (six times a year). We verify that the results of the water quality inspections do not violate environmental laws or local ordinances, and we report to Kagoshima City.
